SwampFest22 To The Front Showcase

Creative Sounds Society presents SwampFest22, a celebration of the swamp’s music at local swamp all-ages stalwart The Stomach. 

Friday the 14th October - To The Front Te Papaioea Showcase at The Stomach

To celebrate the inaugural To the Front Te Papaioea programme happening here at The Stomach (7th-9th October) we have invited the bands to perform their brand new songs at a SwampFest showcase gig! 

At the showcase, To the Front youth participants will perform an original song they have written during the programme to friends, family, supporters and their mentors. They will play on the same stage as renowned local artists while we ensure a positive first performance experience, in which they are supported and treated with respect.

The showcases in previous To the Front programmes in Tāmaki Makaurau and Pōneke have proved to be highlights of the programme. Mentors have said their favorite moment was “…just noticing their confidence grow throughout the week. Awesome seeing them play and taking my advice and teaching on board.”
