We are proud to announce for the first time in Palmerston North, To the Front Te Papaioea! A new shorter format for our music mentoring programme! This three-day weekend programme takes everything that’s made our week-long programmes so successful and gives us the opportunity to offer it in new locations across Aotearoa, at new times of the year, and for participants who might not be able to commit to a full week To The Front experience.

In this programme, participants aged 12 – 17 learn instruments, form bands, write original songs, and perform at a showcase, all guided by professional musicians in an inclusive environment. Alongside collaborative learning, participants will take part in workshops about DIY merch, mental wellness, and performance skills.

To The Front Te Papaioea 2022 will be held between Friday 7th – Sunday 9th October with a showcase on 14th October 2022. The programme will be hosted by our key sponsor, Creative Sounds Society – The Stomach, Palmerston North.
